Bed & Breakfast

Eide Gard Farm is the ideal location for those looking for the simple, traditional atmosphere of Western Norway. The farm, which was built around 1800, has been restored retaining the traditional Norwegian style. Other features of the farm include a curing house with hearth and a wood shed that has been turned into a traditional dining room.

Each room has a view of the fjord. Within Walking distance of Ølen. Marked hiking trails.

Arrangements

We serve both the traditional fare of Western Norway, such as “lefser” pastries and sheep’s head, and more “exotic” dishes. The style and atmosphere you can choose yourself. We have several different types of rooms decorated with themes such as damask, silver and candelabra style. Alternatively, you can also choose a rough and ready style if you wish.

There are not many complaints to be heard when we fire up the hearth in the curing room and candles are lit and guests are sitting on sheepskin rugs around a long table, not even when everyone is singing together deep into the night, sending deer and hares scattering to the woods.
