Gasnor AS is
a leader in the use and application of natural
gas. Gasnor has 15 years experience in the marketing,
distribution and sale of natural gas. Gasnor is
also Norway’s leading company within the
natural gas technical environment.
Gasnor has strong ambitions for further developing
new geographic areas and new consumer markets
for natural gas. In the
spring of 2003, Gasnor opened a production plant
for liquid natural gas –LNG. This plant
has enabled Gasnor to transport natural gas
in a safe and secure manner directly to its
customers. Besides our principal area of activity,
which is Haugalandet, Gasnor is participating
in natural gas projects in Bergen, Sogn of Fjordene,
More, Trondheim, Genland, Helgeland, and all
of Southern Norway from Stavanger to Lista.
Natural gas is used for the most
part by industry, but hospitals, schools, hotels,
shopping centres, workshops, and office blocks
constitute, in addition to houses, busses and
cars, a rapidly increasing customer base.
