Ølen Betong AS is one of Norway’s largest concrete producers with an annual turnover of NOK 207 million and a staff of 75.

The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ølen Betong Group AS. The whole concern has an annual turnover of NOK 305 million and a total of 136 employees.

The company is organised into 3 separate product divisions.

- Concrete products
- Concrete elements
Each division is managed by a division manager with budgetary and result reporting responsibility.

Ølen Betong AS has regional offices in: Bergen, Bærum, Haugesund, Sveio, Kårstø in Tysvær, Stord and Hammarfest.

The concrete products factory is located in Ølensvåg; the concrete element factory in Sveio; pre-mixed concrete works are located in Ølen, Bergen, Kårstø in Tysvær, Stord and in Hammarfest where 3 mixing stations are in operation.

In the period 2003-2005, the company will supply 170 000 m² of concrete to the Snøhvit Project near Hammarfest. The concrete element unit in Sveio will supply internal concrete lining elements for 6 highway tunnels in the OPS Project in Sør-Trondelag (a total of 77 450m² in elements). The concrete products division delivers products throughout the whole country including, among others, to the Ormen Lange Project at Aukra.
